Data Sources & Transparency
The sold prices shown on Dwelom come from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data. It records residential property sales in England and Wales that were sold for value and lodged for registration, and it is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Scotland and Northern Ireland are not covered.
Each record includes the sale price, the date of transfer, the full address and postcode, the property type (detached, semi-detached, terraced, flat or other), whether it was a new build, and whether it is freehold or leasehold. It does not include bedrooms, bathrooms, floor area or condition, so Dwelom does not show or estimate those details.
Sales usually appear four to eight weeks after completion, and the Land Registry releases updates monthly. Some transactions, such as transfers that were not at market value, are excluded from the dataset. Street names are taken from the recorded address, and where one name covers several separate places we split them by postcode district.
