Sold House Prices in England and Wales

This is the starting point for browsing sold house prices on Dwelom. Choose a city to see its streets, open a postcode district to see the streets recorded within it, or search for a specific street. Every price shown comes from a completed sale recorded by HM Land Registry, not from an asking price or an estate agent listing.

Coverage is limited to England and Wales, because HM Land Registry Price Paid Data only records residential sales in those two nations. Sales in Scotland and Northern Ireland are registered separately and are not included. Each record shows the price paid, the date of transfer, the address, the property type, whether the home was a new build, and whether it was freehold or leasehold. The data does not include bedrooms, bathrooms, floor area or condition, so Dwelom does not display or guess those details.

Sales normally take several weeks to be registered after completion, and the Land Registry publishes updates monthly, so the most recent months can look quieter than they really were. Some transfers, such as those not made at full market value, are excluded from the dataset. Prices paid in the past are a guide to local evidence, not a valuation of any home today.

Price Paid Data is public information published under the Open Government Licence. Dwelom shows the address-level details the Land Registry already publishes and does not show buyer or seller names.
